Root & Return
A Somatic IFS Circle
It's time to come home to yourself
Root & Return is a 6-week, somatic, IFS-informed circle for anyone longing to slow down, soften the noise, and meet themselves with more curiosity and care.
It’s not a course. Not a fix.
Just a steady space to breathe, notice, and be witnessed - exactly as you are.

What to expect
Each 75-minute session we’ll settle into the body, land together, and explore gentle practices drawn from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic work.
You’ll be guided through grounding, self-connection, and reflection, with time to share or simply listen.
No one is expected to perform, explain, or be “healed.”
The invitation is to practice showing up - for yourself, your parts, and with others doing the same.
You might come if you're:
-
Feeling disconnected, overextended, or untethered
-
Curious about IFS but not ready (or able) to start 1:1 sessions
-
Already doing self-guided IFS or IFS therapy and you want an additional way to stay connected between sessions
-
Wanting to rebuild trust with your body or emotions
-
Longing for consistent space to rest, reflect, and root back in

The Three Pillars of Root & Return
Body
We're may dissociate, ignore and deny our body. In Root & Return, we learn to make friends with it again, and with movement-based practices we learn to connect, release and care for our bodies to support our long-term emotions, energy, vitality & health.
IFS
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a beautifully gentle way of getting to know the mind. In Root & Return we gently cultivate a relationship with the parts of you who want to be known, in your own time and in your own way. It is an incredibly healing and transformative journey.
Mindfulness
Using meditation, breath work, mindfulness and yoga practices, we invest in our nervous system, create more space for rest, and become the relaxed person we always longed to be; and might never have seen growing up.
Hi, I'm Caroline
I’m a somatic practitioner and IFS-trained facilitator, with a background in teaching, embodiment, and holistic wellbeing.
I work from the belief that we each have a natural, innate capacity to heal - and that we do so best when we’re witnessed with compassion and without hierarchy.
If you’d like to know more about my training and approach, you can read about my 1:1 work here.

Why “Root & Return”?
Because healing isn’t about transcending your mess or becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering what’s already here - your body’s wisdom, your parts’ stories, your capacity to return again and again to yourself.
