I started having one to one sessions with Caroline about four months ago to work through issues I have around food and eating. My first interest was in finding a way to ‘fix’ my issues and do some work around nutrition that would help me move on from a very strict exclusion diet I was on for four years due to some treatment I was receiving.


Caroline introduced me to IFS work, and worked with me to identify my parts who were affecting my relationship to food and eating. I have lifelong issues around food, ‘being fat’, and body image. The sessions have helped me to understand where these issues come from and my focus is no longer only on nutritional plans and meal composition but on understanding my whole relationship to food and eating. Early experiences, long held behaviours and current attitudes have all come into play. I don’t judge anything as ‘right’ or ‘wrong’, just part of the sum total of who I am.



I have found the sessions to be so helpful. Although at times a bit difficult as I have met parts of me that have not been heard for a long time, the work has helped me to be more forgiving and to love all the parts, not see them as influences I am in conflict with.


The outcome is that I am developing a more peaceful relationship with food. I have absolutely never had that and so this is new territory for me, but a map is being drawn and I, together with all my parts, are making our way forward. Thank you Caroline for helping us to find that route.

Working with Caroline has been life changing for me! When we first started one to one coaching sessions I had a rough idea of changes I wanted to make but didn't have a clear goal and with Caroline's help and guidance I've been able to fall in love with exercise and bettering my overall health.

I am so glad I found Caroline!  I really wanted to find someone who took a holistic approach to health, so she has been the perfect personal trainer for me.
